Mondraker Chrono Carbon carbon/dirty white mountain bike

The Mondraker Chrono Carbon serves as the gateway to the world of high-end carbon XC bikes from the renowned Spanish brand. Built on a frame utilizing Stealth Full Carbon technology, it optimizes the distribution of carbon fibers to achieve maximum stiffness while maintaining high ride comfort. Its core feature is the signature XC Forward Geometry, which, thanks to a longer reach and optimized angles, provides the rider with stability and confidence in technical sections, while the Flatstays rear triangle effectively absorbs micro-vibrations from the terrain.

Front suspension is handled by the RockShox Judy Gold RL 29 air fork with 100 mm of travel. The fork is equipped with a OneLoc remote lockout from the handlebars and rebound adjustment, allowing for precise adaptation to various terrain types. Thanks to the Boost standard (15x110 mm), the fork and the entire front end of the bike offer high torsional stiffness.

The drivetrain is built on the proven 12-speed SRAM Eagle system. The SRAM NX Eagle rear derailleur works in tandem with an SX Eagle shifter and an 11-50T range cassette. SRAM SX Eagle cranks with a 34T chainring provide a wide enough gear range for steep climbs and fast descents. Stopping power is delivered by SRAM Level T hydraulic disc brakes with 160 mm rotors.

The bike rolls on MDK-XP1 29 Tubeless Ready wheels with a 25 mm internal rim width. Traction is provided by premium Maxxis Ikon 2.20 29-inch tires in the 3CMaxx Speed version, optimized for low rolling resistance and maximum grip on dry XC terrain.
